2022 Ontario Crop Diagnostic Days

@SWCropDiagDays

The 2020 and 2021 Ontario Virtual Crop Diagnostic Days were a huge success and builds on the long tradition the annual Field Crop Diagnostic Days held at Ridgetown, Elora and Winchester although in a different format. Our success would not have been possible without our participants, sponsors, speakers and all the volunteers involved! A BIG THANKS from all of us!

This year we are pleased to be back in person on July 20th and 21st, 2022 in Ridgetown! With help from our sponsor’s, we will be combining Southwest (Ridgetown), Elora and Eastern Ontario (Winchester) Crop Diagnostic Days into one provincial diagnostic event you will not want to miss!

The 2022 Ontario Diagnostic Days will consist of eight 30-minute sessions (stops) repeated each day.  Each session will consist of a general field crop agronomic theme with various topics which are current and relevant to farmers, crop consultants, retailers basically anyone involved in agriculture! Our goal is to record each session and broadcast them across the province at a later date.

Space is limited (200 per day) and at this time we are not taking door registrations so REGISTER BY JULY 11, 2022 to secure your spot! Please note ALL ACTIVITIES ARE OUTDOORS so come prepared and enjoy.

Registration begins at 8:15 a.m.  The program will start at 9:15 a.m. sharp and conclude at 3:00 p.m.  Refreshments and a complimentary lunch will be provided. All parts of the program will be conducted at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus, Ridgetown, Ontario.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU)

Historically, in-person diagnostic days have provided some of the best opportunities for Certified Crop Advisors (CCA) to acquire a broad range of Continuing Education Units (CEU). Application has been made to offer participants 4 continuing education units in the areas of Pest Management, Crop Management, Nutrient Management and Soil and Water Management, for Certified Crop Advisors. Complete details will be contained in the reference package handed out on the day of the event.
